AUTOSPLICE was started in New York City in 1954, and in those early days the firm was named General Staple Company. In the years up to 1967 General Staple was a distributor (not a manufacturer) of industrial stapling machines. Our exciting growth path started in 1967 when a customer requested General Staple to build a machine that would splice two electrical wires together. This simple, innocent request would ultimately change the Company into a worldwide manufacturer of innovative interconnection machines and connectors selling to the electrical and electronic industries.

QSI began operations in 1983 as a manufacturer of low-power bus board computers (for the C-44 bus). Two years later, we introduced our first terminal (the "QTERM"), a simple 20-key unit with a 4x16 display. Although primitive compared with our current products, it helped establish our reputation for building quality, reliable terminals to precise specifications. In 1990, we developed the QTERM-II and began phasing out our bus-board computer products.

NEC Miniature Power Relays for Automotive Solutions

NEC-Tokin has been supplying Automotive Power Relays for over 15 years, on many Automotive switching applications such as RKE, Power Windows, Memory Seats, Sunroof Control, Shift Transfer, etc. NEC was the first to offer a dual (twin) relay for reversing (H-bridge) motor drive. We offer SPST (1 form A) types for lamps, and SPDT (1 form C) types in single or double packages for motor loads. Automated production yields quality levels under 5 PPM. Pin-in-paste reflowable parts are available.
